We will take you through a picturesque landscape of Zagorje and reveal you the best kept secrets it hides, to bring you closer to its specific culture.

Our today's adventure begins in the stunning setting of green hills and
with the introduction of wine-growing tradition of Hrvatsko zagorje. Surrounded with the beautiful scenery of vineyards, in the warm atmosphere of vineyard cottage known as „klijet“, you will go on a
special journey of wine experince... A true „wine doctor“ will discover you the history of wine-making in Zagorje. You will taste variety of local wine sorts cultivated by Sever family, and discover the long lasting family dedication to wine-making. We will enrich your experience of real Zagorje with the welcome of local traditional music as an old traditional song is saying: “Dobro mi došel prijatelj u stari zagorski kraj...“ (Welcome my firend in old Zagorje land...)

After introducing you wine tradition of Zagorje, the continuation of a journey takes us to unique „open-air“ ethnological museum „Staro selo“(Old Village) Kumrovec. You will be greeted with traditional Zagorje welcome. An ethnologist will present you regional cultural heritage. Old rural houses („zagorske hiže“) will introduce you the culture of rural living and heritage of Zagorje. You will see the birth house of a world famous Tito, permanent exhibitions representing Pottery, Cartwright's trade, Basketweaving...
Finaly, a living master of pottery, craftmen from Kumrovec region will demonstrate you the pottery craft on a foot-driven potter's wheel „kolombar“.

From the old village Kumrovec, we take you further in the past. „Knights of Golden Chalice“ will lead you into completely different world, in the late medieval times, that dark but romantic period of Zagorje history. We will stop the time for a moment and give you the opportunity to become a real medieval archer. You will get your own traditional bow and arrow, authentic replicas of original ones dating from the medieval period, and for a moment „live“ the life of the knights by participating in a real archery tournament.
Finally, you will enjoy the culinary art of Hrvatsko zagorje. We take you on a lunch in an authentic environment of a traditional rural farm, where you will enjoy local dishes prepared to the old recipes and made of natural ingridients from the region.
