A visit starts with the sight-seeing of the old town. Its Baroque grace and beauty brought to Varaždin a flattering title of candidate for UNESCO list of world heritage...  Among other, you will see the most significant cultural monument - the „Old Town“, important royal fortress, built frrm 13th to 19th century; and many other pearls of architectural heritage. After the sight-seeing of old town, guide will take you to the  City Cemetery of Varaždin which represents a certain pearl of garden architecture and recognized natural monument...

In a centre of the city you will dip into the richness of Varaždin tradition... At the square of traditional crafts you can try your skill on a potter-wheel, and a blacksmith will help you in the creation of  your own „Varždin medallion“, and the weaver will show you the old weaving craft from Varaždin region.

After visit of traditional crafts square, we take you in the classicist palace Herczer, where today is a permanent exhibition of a City museum, „ The mervellous world of insects“. It is one of the most beautiful exhibits of that kind in Europe which represents truly the biology of these creatures in various states: In the forest, By the forest and on the meadow, In the water and at the coastline, During the night and in the soil.... Professional curator will lead you through the exhibition.

On our way back we will take you in a hidden oasis of  relaxation  and gastronomy pleasures. On arrival we give you a special experience, „French garden detour“. You will pass the exceptional art work of horticulture, a labirinth of 2500 trees, 1000m² big.
